What’s On

We have grown nine hectares of sunflowers accompanied by other beneficial species. This is part of transitioning a traditional stock and crop farm into a regenerative venture. The farm gate will be open for three weeks in February for what will become an annual Sunflower Fest. Enjoy a guided farm walk through thousands of sunflowers towering above a colourful understory. While you gather sunflowers experience one of the ways soil health can be restored.

Proceeds will go towards the education and conservation work of Ruamāhanga Farm Foundation, involving local schools in learning about and contributing to the health of the Ruamāhanga awa, surrounding wetlands and native bush.
